Iskcon Kanyakumari Foundation

Our foundation is down in the southern part of the country, in a place called Arumanai. The exact address is 4-161 C, Madathuvilai, Kuzhichalarumai. It is a bit of a mouthful to say if you aren't from around here. The area is quite green and peaceful, which suits the Iskcon foundation quite well. We have a small building that serves as our main hub. It’s not a massive temple or a big corporate office; it is more of a community space. We spend a lot of time organizing local activities and making sure everything is running smoothly. The pin code is 629151 for anyone who needs to mail us something. It is a very quiet life out here in Arumanai compared to the big cities like Chennai or Bangalore. We like it that way. Most of the people who work here are locals who have lived in the area their whole lives. We don't have any flashy brochures or a dedicated marketing person. If you want to know what we do, you just have to come by and talk to us. We usually have some tea or snacks around to share with anyone who visits. It is a very humble setup, and we are just happy to be part of the village. There is no corporate polish here, just honest work and people trying to do their best for each other.
