Central Power Research Institute

Sometimes the coastal weather can be a bit of a challenge for the gear, but we manage. We aren't here to make a big name for ourselves, just to provide the research and testing that is needed for the power sector. Most of the people working here are from the local area or have moved here specifically for the institute. We eat our lunch together and talk about the latest results. It’s a very grounded way to work, and we just keep things running as smoothly as we can in this part of Tamil Nadu. We find that the quiet environment actually helps us focus better on the technical details that matter for our power research.
