Betterway India Nidhi is over in Melaputhery, which is in the Puthery area of Nagercoil. We are down in Kanyakumari district, right at the tip of the country. Our office is a simple place where we handle the local savings and loans. It is a quiet neighborhood compared to the main city center. People walk over from the nearby houses to talk to us. We have been in this spot for a while and the office has a very lived-in feel to it. There are rows of files and some old wooden chairs for people to sit on while they wait. Nagercoil has its own pace and we follow that. We aren't in a hurry. We take the time to talk to whoever comes in, even if they just want to say hello. The paperwork is the main thing we do. Everything has to be recorded properly because that is what a Nidhi company does. We keep the ledger books updated every single day. It is mostly just a few of us working here. We know the names of almost everyone who has an account with us. There is no big marketing team or anything like that. We just have a small board outside. It is practical and straightforward. The weather here is usually warm so we keep the windows open to catch the breeze. It is a decent place to work and the locals seem to appreciate having us nearby.
