Vipin Kala Namak Factory (P) Ltd.

Our factory is located in Kadrabad, right on the GT Road near Santosh Hostel in Govindpuri. We’ve been making kala namak here for quite some time. It’s a specific kind of work, and the smell of the salt is always in the air around the building. We have a small group of workers who know the process well. It’s mostly grinding and packing. The machines make a lot of noise, so we have to shout sometimes to hear each other. Being on GT Road is good for the trucks that come to pick up the bags. It’s a dusty place, but that’s just how it is with salt. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Most people just come to the gate if they need to talk to us. We focus on the production and making sure the bags are filled right. It’s hard work, especially when it’s hot outside, but we keep the fans going. The factory has been in this spot for years, and most people in Govindpuri know us by the scent. We don't do much in the way of advertising. The quality of the salt speaks for itself when people use it. We just show up every morning, start the machines, and get to work. It’s a steady rhythm that we’ve all grown used to. There’s a lot of pride in just doing a job well every single day without any fuss.
