The shop is tucked away in the Main Market, not far from Beare Banj Road. If you walk past, you'll probably smell the spices before you even see the sign for Sengar Masala. We spend a lot of time grinding and packing things in the back. It gets pretty dusty back there with all the powders flying around. I’ve lived around here my whole life, so the market feels like home. Our space isn't very large, just enough for the machines and the bags of raw ingredients. We try to keep things organized, but on busy mornings when the deliveries arrive, it’s a bit of a squeeze. People from the neighborhood stop by, sometimes just to say hello or ask about what’s fresh today. It’s a simple operation. No big computers or fancy systems, just us doing the work by hand. The bags are stacked up near the door ready for whoever needs them. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a bit of a mess, but we stay open regardless. We’ve been at this for a while now. The heat in the afternoon can be a bit much, but that’s just how it is in the market. We don’t do much advertising; word of mouth usually does the trick for us. Just a local spot doing what we know how to do.
