Huma Perfumers has been at number 786 in Sarai Meera for a long time. The shop is small and always smells like a mix of different oils and scents. We have rows of glass bottles on the shelves, some big and some very tiny. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned place. The street outside is usually busy with people going about their business. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy, just the name above the door. Most of our day is spent filling small vials or talking to people who have been coming to us for years. The floor is made of old tile and the wooden counters are quite worn from all the use. We keep the shop clean, but it has that lived-in feel. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when more than two or three people are inside at once. Sarai Meera is a nice area, very local and friendly. We know the neighbors well and often chat with them when things are quiet. There isn't any fancy technology here, just scales and funnels for the oils. We take things slow and make sure each bottle is filled correctly. It’s a peaceful kind of work, even with the noise from the road. We open up early and usually stay until the sun goes down, just keeping the shop running like it always has.
