You can find us at Ramu Chaturvedi’s place in Moh Garsiganj. We’re located right in Gali No. 1 in Chhibramau. It’s not a massive industrial park or anything like that. It’s a local factory where we handle all sorts of spicy mixes. The air around here usually smells like roasted cumin and dried chilies. It’s quite a strong scent, and it lingers on our clothes even after we go home. We started this because we saw how much people in the area love their heat. Every batch we make is handled by people who live right here in the neighborhood. We don't use big automated robots. We use our hands and some old-style grinders that have been around for a bit. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend the afternoon fixing them with grease and a wrench. That’s just how it goes in a real factory. We try to keep the spices fresh. We don't like stuff sitting on the shelves for months. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the sacks of raw ingredients, but we make it work. We aren't looking to become some corporate giant. We just want to make sure the people in Chhibramau have good masala for their dinner. It’s a simple goal. We stay busy, we work hard, and we go home tired at the end of the day. It’s a decent life for us.
