Abhilashh Chai Wala

Abhilashh Chai Wala is over here in Kaechari Tola, which is part of the Kannauj district. We are at Plot No. 5, near the Thakurd Wara. People think of Kannauj for perfumes, but for us, it’s all about the tea. The shop is small and sits on a bit of a dusty patch of land. We spend a lot of our time just sitting out front, waiting for the next person to pull up. It’s a local place through and through. The building is simple, nothing fancy about the walls or the roof. We mostly deal with the people living right here in the Tola and the farmers who pass by. When the weather gets hot, the shop feels even smaller, so we keep the doors wide open. We keep a few different grades of tea, the kind people here like for their morning and evening cups. It’s a routine life. We wake up, open the shutters, and start checking the sacks. Sometimes the supply is a bit slow, but we manage. Being near Thakurd Wara means we get a bit of peace too. There isn't a lot of noise except for the occasional tractor or bike. We aren't doing anything revolutionary here. It’s just a tea shop in a quiet part of Kannauj where we try to keep things honest and simple for everyone who knows us. We’ve been here long enough that most people don’t even need to say what they want.
