We have been here at Jmd Motor for a while now, right across from the Canara Bank. It gets busy on this stretch of road near the Bishwakarma Mandir. Panagarh is a lively place to be, and there is always something happening outside our doors. We mostly spend our time looking under hoods and figuring out why things aren't running like they should. It’s dirty work sometimes, and our hands are rarely clean, but that is just how it goes when you deal with engines all day long. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a place where we get things done with the tools we’ve gathered over the years. People stop by on their way through Kanksa, often looking for a bit of help with their vehicles. Sometimes they just need a quick look at a noise they’re hearing, or maybe something bigger is wrong. We keep the doors open and try to stay on top of the work coming in from around the district. The weather in West Burdwan can get pretty hot in the summer, making the shop feel a bit tight, but we manage. We aren’t big on talking ourselves up. We just know our way around the machinery. Most days it’s just us and the wrenches, making sure the cars and bikes get back on the road. It’s a simple setup. If you are near the temple or the bank, you’ll probably see us working away. There is always a lot of traffic passing by, so there is never a quiet moment here. We’ve stayed in this spot because it’s where everyone knows to find us.
