Patel Ice Cream

Patel Ice Cream is located in Bhabhar, inside the Madhav Plaza Complex on Vav Road. We are directly opposite the Lions Club Eye and Gynec Hospital, so we get a lot of people coming over after their appointments or while they are waiting for family members. It’s a good spot to be in, though the road can get quite crowded with traffic. We aren't a massive chain; it’s just a regular shop that we keep running day by day. We have a few tables where people can sit for a bit if they aren't in a hurry. The work is mostly about keeping the freezers at the right temperature and making sure the stock is fresh. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks or expensive ads. People know us because we’ve been here in the plaza for quite some time. We do all the work ourselves, including the sweeping and the heavy lifting when the supplies arrive. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to scramble to keep everything from melting, which is always a bit stressful and messy. But that's life in Bhabhar. We just keep going. It’s a practical business, and we like the people who come in to chat while they have their treat. We don't promise anything other than a cold ice cream from a local shop. It's a simple arrangement that has worked for us and the neighborhood for years. We just keep the doors open.
