Koya Gotul Sanskriti Foundation

Koya Gotul Sanskriti Foundation is based out of Devgaon. You can find us at House No-78 in Village Devgan, near Post Devgaon, Narayanpur-Bastar. The pincode is 494661. This is a very rural area, and we are right in the middle of it. Our office is a simple house in the village. There are trees around and you can hear the birds most of the time. It’s a far cry from the noisy cities. We like it this way because it keeps us close to the ground. The foundation is run by a few of us who grew up around here or have lived here for a long time. We don't have fancy computers or leather chairs. We use what we have. Most days involve a lot of talking with the locals and keeping track of our projects on paper. The house is old but sturdy. We have a small porch where we sit and discuss things when the weather is good. It’s a very informal environment. We don't wear suits or follow strict corporate rules. We just wake up, head to House No-78, and start our day. Sometimes the road to the village gets a bit rough during the rains, but we are used to it. Being in Bastar means we are surrounded by a lot of history, and we try to respect that in everything we do from our little village base. We often share meals together in the afternoon. It's a slow but steady life here.
