Yashada Book

We are over at Ward No. 16 in Village Kankavali. Yashada Book is our little spot in the Kankavali Taluka area of Sindhudurg District. Finding us isn't too hard because we are right near the Civil Hospital Compound. That landmark helps a lot when we are giving directions over the phone. The village is usually calm, and we like being near the hospital because there are always people moving around. Our space is functional. We have rows of books and supplies everywhere. It can get a little cramped when a fresh shipment arrives and we haven't put it all away yet. We don't have fancy lights or a big glass front. It is a simple building that serves the local community. Most of our neighbors know us by name. We spend our mornings dusting and making sure things look decent enough. The weather in Sindhudurg can be quite humid, so we try to keep the books away from the damp walls. It's a lot of manual work, moving boxes and checking lists. We aren't a big corporation or anything like that. It's just a local business run by people who live right here in the village. If you walk past the hospital gate, you'll see us just a bit further down. We don't have a big sign, but people find us anyway. It has been our home for a while and we plan to stay here. We just do our work and then head home.
