Hail Stone

We’ve been at Chullimada Junction for a good while now. It’s a busy spot in Kanjikode and there is always something going on outside our door. Most days start early before the sun gets too high because the heat here can be a lot once afternoon hits. We mostly deal with stones and heavy loads, so there’s usually a bit of dust around the place. Our building isn't anything fancy to look at, just a practical space where we keep things moving. Sometimes the trucks get backed up at the junction and it gets noisy, but we are used to it by now. The neighbors around here are mostly other businesses and people just going about their work. We don't spend much time on office decor or trying to look like a big city firm because that isn't who we are. People stop by, we talk about what they need, and we get to work. Sometimes we drink tea from the stall nearby while waiting for a delivery. It's a simple way of doing things, really. We just try to keep up with the orders and make sure the yard stays organized, even if it gets messy by the end of the week. There’s always another pile to move or a truck to load, so we stay pretty busy from Monday to Saturday. It's just honest work in a part of town that doesn't sleep much.
