Ashok Granites

Ashok Granites has been sitting out on Devarapalem Road for a good while now. Our place is at 12-48 in Marri Chetla Palem, which is easy enough to get to if you are heading that way. It's a busy enough road, and we see a lot of trucks passing by every day. We handle a lot of different granite blocks and slabs here. Most of the time, we are busy loading or unloading something. It’s not the cleanest work, as you can imagine with all the cutting and moving of stone. The yard can get a bit noisy when the machines are running, but that is how we get things ready for the builders. We have a few guys who have been with us for years, so we know the inventory pretty well. If someone comes in looking for a specific color or a certain thickness, we usually know right where to look in the stacks. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing paperwork unless we have to. Most of our day is spent outside on the lot. It gets hot during the summer, but we just keep at it. People from around Marri Chetla Palem know us as the local spot for stone. We don't have a big sales team or anything like that. Usually, you’ll just find one of us near the gate or in the small office shed. It’s just a regular local business trying to keep things moving along without making too much of a fuss about it.
