Sujit Kirana Stores

Sujit Kirana Stores is a small business run out of House No.111/1. We are in the Village and Post of Papri, which is in Tehsil Mohal. Life in the village is quite different from the city, and our store reflects that. We carry the basic items that the families around Papri need for their kitchens and homes. It might be flour, tea leaves, or just some sweets for the kids. The house number is 111/1, and the store is right at the front. We are surrounded by fields and other houses. Everyone in the village knows Sujit and where to find the shop. We don't have any big banners. We usually sit on a wooden bench outside when it’s not too busy. The pace of work is steady but not rushed. Sometimes we run out of things because the supply truck takes a while to reach Tehsil Mohal. We just tell the customers to come back in a few days. It is a very personal way of doing business. We know who likes which brand of soap and who always pays at the end of the month. It is more about the community than just selling things. We have been in this spot for years and it feels like home because it actually is our home. We keep the place tidy as much as possible, though the village dust always finds its way in. It’s just how things go here and we are fine with that.
