S.K. Marketing

Our business, S.K. Marketing, is based out of Village Chahri, which falls under the Post Office of Nagrota Bagwan in the Kangra region. We are situated quite close to Gandhi Ground, so we often see people heading over there for cricket matches or just to walk around in the evenings. Being in a village setting means things move a bit slower than they do in the big cities, and we actually prefer it that way. Our office isn't anything special to look at. It is just a sturdy building where we keep our records and handle the marketing side of things for the local area. There is a lot of green around us, and you can see the hills in the distance on a clear day, which is nice. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who drop by from the surrounding areas to discuss business. The road out front can get a bit muddy when it rains, so we have to be careful about that when we are moving things in and out. Inside, it's mostly shelves and a few desks where we sit and go through our daily lists. We don't use a lot of complicated systems; we just keep track of things the old-fashioned way for the most part. It’s a quiet life, but there is always work to be done. We usually start early in the morning when the air is still cool.
