Premier Alliance Club Foundation is located in Khaniara. We are right at Sanjeev Singh’s place in Sidhpur. Dharamshala is famous with the tourists, but Sidhpur is where the real local life happens every day. Kangra is a big district and we try to cover what we can from this small spot. We call ourselves a club because it started with a few friends who just wanted to hang out and do something useful. It’s not a fancy social club with a bar or anything. It’s just a place where we meet to solve local problems over tea. We talk about the roads or the water supply a lot. Sometimes we help out with local events when the village gathers. Sanjeev is usually there to open the door for anyone. The house is easy to find if you are in the 176001 zip code area. We don't have a website that works all the time or any glossy brochures to hand out. We just have our names and our reputation in the village, which matters more. It’s a bit messy in the office sometimes. We have piles of papers and mismatched chairs. But it works for what we need. Living in Himachal Pradesh means you have to be tough and flexible. The rain in Dharamshala is no joke and can keep us indoors for days. We just keep planning. People know they can drop by anytime they see the light on.
