Our Own English School

Our Own English School is right on the Main Road in Shahpur. It is a busy location in the Kangra district. Being on the main road means everyone knows where we are. The traffic moves fast outside, but inside the walls, it is all about the students. We have a simple building that has seen many years of classes. Most of us who work here are from around Kangra. We know the families and the children well. It feels more like a small community than a big institution. We don't go for any polished marketing stuff. We just focus on the lessons and the daily chores of running a school. There is a lot of noise during the breaks when the kids are out in the small yard. The rooms are filled with old desks and stacks of books. We use simple English to talk to each other and the parents. The day starts early and ends when the sun starts to go down. We don't have a lot of big claims to make. We just provide a place for the kids in Shahpur to come and study. We stay busy until the final bell rings.
