Nurpur Flour Mills (Opc) Private Limited

Our mill is located in Village Khajjian, which is part of the Nurpur area in Kangra. Nurpur Flour Mills (Opc) Private Limited is run out of Krishana Devi’s place. It is a very traditional setup. You can hear the machines running throughout the day. Flour milling is a dusty job, but it is what we know. We are right near the Khel post office. The Kangra district is a beautiful place to work, even if the work itself is quite tiring. We have a small group of people who help with the grinding and bagging. We don't have any fancy mission statements. Our goal is just to make sure the flour is good and the bags are full. Sometimes the machinery breaks down, and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing it. That’s just part of the job. We don’t wear uniforms or have big meetings. Usually, we just talk while we work. The village is quiet, and we like it that way. Most of our customers are people from the nearby towns. They know where we are and how we work. We aren't trying to change the world. We are just a local mill trying to stay busy and keep the community supplied. It is a simple life, and we are quite content with how things are going here in Khajjian.
