Middle Way Tours & Travels is based right here in Mcleod Ganj. Living and working in Dharamshala means you get used to the steep streets and the constant mist. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a room where we keep our maps and handle the bookings. We started this because we knew the area and wanted a way to work for ourselves. Now, we spend most of our time coordinating with drivers and making sure everyone knows where they are supposed to be. It’s not always smooth; sometimes a car breaks down or a flight gets delayed, and we have to scramble to fix it. That’s just how the travel business goes. We don't use polished scripts when we talk to people. We just tell it like it is. If a road is blocked by snow, we say so. We don't want to promise something that isn't going to happen. It's a small operation, so you'll usually talk to the same one or two people every time you call. We like it that way. It feels more personal than those big websites where you're just a number. We know the local shopkeepers and the best places for a quick bite, and we share that knowledge when people ask. It’s just a simple, local business trying to do honest work in a beautiful part of the world. We take things as they come and try our best.
