Kunoo Farmer Producer Company is located in Gram Goras. We are right across from the Chunni Lal Modern School, which makes it very easy for people to find us. If you’re in the village, you just look for the school and we’re right there. Amar Singh Maroo is the one who handles things at the office. It’s a simple village setting. There’s usually a bit of dust and the sound of the school kids playing during the day. We are just a bunch of farmers who came together to form this company. We don’t have a big corporate office with air conditioning or fancy chairs. It’s just a place where we sit down to talk about the harvest and the prices. Amar Singh keeps track of everything. We don't spend any money on advertising or big promotions. We just work with the people we know in the village and the surrounding areas. It gets pretty hot here, so the office is a good place to escape the sun for a bit while we get the records straight. People stop by on their tractors or just walk over from their fields. It’s a very informal way of doing things, but it’s how life goes in Goras. We just want to get the work done and make sure the company is running like it should. It’s honest work and we don't try to make it sound like anything else.
