Jaypee Group

I’m Rakesh Patiyal and I run the Jaypee Group up here in Bhaura. We are located in the Palampur Tehsil, which is part of the Kangra district in Himachal Pradesh. It’s a beautiful place to work, even if the roads get a bit tricky when it rains or snows in the winter. Our office is right in the village, so everyone knows us. We aren't a big city firm with hundreds of employees. It’s just us here in the mountains. I’ve lived in this area most of my life, so setting up the business in Bhaura made sense. We handle things in a very local way. If someone needs something, they usually just come by the house or the office and we talk it over. We don't use much technology besides what we absolutely need. The pace of life here in Himachal is a bit slower than down in the plains, and we like it that way. We do our work properly but we don't rush through things just to be fast. The air is fresh and the view is good, which makes the long days easier. My contact details are out there for the locals. We just want to keep the business steady and provide for our families. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We don't have any big plans to move or change how we operate. Bhaura is home.
