Hindustan Construction Co. Ltd.

The Hindustan Construction Co. Ltd. office is located in Nanaon, which is a village in the Palampur tehsil of Kangra district up in Himachal Pradesh. It is a beautiful area, but the terrain makes the construction work pretty challenging sometimes. We are associated with the family of Sh. Devpaul Singh Parmar here. The setup is quite simple and fits in with the village surroundings. Since we are in the hills, the weather dictates a lot of what we can and cannot do on any given day. Winters can be cold and the rainy season often brings everything to a halt, so we spend those times caught up on the administrative side of things. The office itself is just a basic space where we keep our ledgers and project files. There is no corporate polish here, just a few desks and some local guys trying to get the job done right. We deal with a lot of logistics, especially getting materials up the winding roads. It is a lot of coordination over the phone and in person. The people in the village are friendly and we feel like a part of the local fabric. We use the 176085 pin code for our mail. We just keep moving forward with the projects and try to handle the daily issues as they come up without too much fuss.
