Our office is located at Sharma Villa, which is Balbir Sharma’s house. It’s right near Duggal Cottage in Shimla. You might have seen it if you ever walk around that part of town. Even though we have Agritech in our name, we are pretty down-to-earth people. We started this in Shimla because we saw a way to bring some newer ideas to the farms around here. Shimla is a busy place, especially with all the tourists coming and going, but we focus on the quieter side of things out in the fields. The villa is where we handle all the paperwork and meet up to plan our next steps. It’s a comfortable spot, and the view isn't half bad when the mountain clouds clear up for a bit. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who come by the house. It’s not a corporate office with a front desk or anything like that. Usually, you’ll find Balbir or one of the others sitting at a wooden table with a stack of files and a cup of tea. We just try to help the farmers around Himachal Pradesh get a bit more out of their land using whatever tools we can find. It’s been a learning process for all of us, but we enjoy the work. We're just a small team trying to do something useful for the local agricultural scene without making it too complicated.
