Himco Nidhi Limited is located in Village Birta, near Ghurkari in Kangra. Our office is at number 2211. It’s a small village setting, so everyone knows where we are. We aren't a big city bank with hundreds of branches. We just serve the people right here in the 176001 area. We handle savings and provide some small credit to our members. It’s a simple setup with a couple of desks and some chairs for visitors. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment. A computer, some registers, and a lot of patience are what we use to get through the day. The village is peaceful, and we like it that way. People stop by on their way to the fields or the market. We talk about the crops and the local news while we handle their transactions. It doesn't feel like a cold business place. It’s more like a community spot. We make sure the books are accurate and every paisa is accounted for. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Himachal Pradesh. We just want to do right by the folks in Birta and Ghurkari. Sometimes we stay open a bit late if someone is coming from far away. It’s just how we do things here. No corporate rules, just common sense and hard work. We've been part of this village for a while and plan to stay and keep helping.
