Himalayan Quest

We are located over in Rakkar, which is part of the Sidhbari area in Dharamshala. It’s a bit quieter out here compared to the main town, which we actually prefer. Most of what we do involves setting up trips for people who want to see the hills without being in the middle of the crowd. Our office is a simple place, nothing too special to look at, but it’s where we handle all the logistics. We spend our mornings checking the gear and making sure the transport is ready for whatever the day holds. Living in Sidhbari means we see the mountains every time we step outside, so we know the local paths pretty well. It’s a small operation. We don’t have a big marketing department or glossy brochures. People usually hear about us from someone else or just find us while they’re staying nearby. We try to be helpful and give honest advice about the weather and the trails. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to do things the old-fashioned way, but that’s just part of living in this part of Himachal. We focus on the daily tasks, like answering emails and making sure the cars are fueled up. We end up spending a lot of time on the front porch talking to neighbors when the office is quiet. It keeps us grounded in what's happening locally around Rakkar. It's just regular people working here, trying to keep things moving along smoothly for everyone.
