Hari Om Departmental Store

Hari Om Departmental Store is right at Hanuman Chowk in the Amer Puri area of Dehra Gopipur. It’s a busy spot, especially with people moving through the chowk all day. We’ve got a bit of everything on the shelves here. It’s not a huge supermarket, just a local store where people pick up what they need for their homes. We try to keep things in stock so nobody leaves empty-handed. Some mornings are slow, and we spend time just dusting the bottles and checking the dates on things. Then it picks up in the afternoon when everyone is out doing their errands. The shop is tucked into the corner near Amer Puri. You can’t miss it if you’re walking through Dehra Gopipur. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the people who walk through the door. It’s more of a neighborhood gathering place sometimes than just a shop. We talk about the weather or whatever is happening in the chowk. The lighting isn't the best, and the floor is a bit worn from all the feet walking over it, but it works for us. We don’t have a fancy website or anything. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the day to start. It’s a simple life running a store like this. We just keep going. The work isn't always exciting but it is what keeps the neighborhood moving along.
