Out on Khanyara Road in the Kandi area of Dharamshala, that’s where you’ll find our place. It’s a busy road with a lot of local life passing by. We’ve been running this travel business for a while now, mostly dealing with the day-to-day work of organizing tours and getting people around the valley. Our office is pretty plain—just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of logbooks. We don't spend much time making things look fancy; we’re too busy on the phone or talking to the drivers out front. Managing travel in the hills is mostly about dealing with the unexpected, like rain or road repairs. We keep things simple and just try to be useful to anyone who stops by. Some days are slow and we just sit and have tea, while others are a total rush with people coming and going constantly. Being in Kandi means we aren't right in the tourist center, so we get a mix of locals and visitors. We just focus on the job at hand, making sure the routes are planned out and everyone knows where they’re supposed to be. It’s not a big corporate setup, just a local business trying to do things right and keep the wheels turning every single day. We don't have a big staff, so whoever picks up the phone is usually the one who will be helping you out with everything from start to finish. Usually, the walls are covered in scribbled notes about vehicle numbers and which driver is available for the next morning run.
