Colorful Holidays

We’re based in Sidhbari, right here in the Dharamshala area. It’s a nice spot, with the mountains looking down on us every day. Our daily routine is mostly about keeping track of the holiday bookings and making sure the transport side of things isn't falling behind. We don't have a big team or a high-rise office. It’s just a small space where we sit and take calls. Most of the time, we’re just regular folks trying to make sure everything runs according to plan. The weather in Sidhbari can be a bit unpredictable, so we spend a lot of time giving updates to people about whether a trip is a good idea or if they should wait. We aren’t interested in sales pitches; we just tell people what’s actually happening on the ground. The office usually has a few people coming in and out, mostly just checking on their arrangements or asking for directions. We’ve lived around here for a long time, so we know the roads and the little spots that aren't on the maps. It’s practical work, and we enjoy being part of the local community. We keep the paperwork in order, keep the tea hot, and try to make sure every day goes as smoothly as it can in this part of the world. Most days the phone rings quite a bit with people just asking about the snow or if the roads to the higher villages are open yet. We don't mind answering those kinds of questions.
