This firm is run by the son of Sh. Suraj Singh, and we are based right in Village Bharmat, in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. It is a rural setting, quite different from the big city offices you see in the movies. We work out of a small space here in the village, which means we are very close to the people we help. Our clients are mostly local farmers, small shop owners, and families from around the P.O. Kangra area. The office is simple, with just the basic tools needed for accounting—a computer, a printer, and lots of folders. Since we are in a village, the pace of life is a bit slower, but the deadlines for taxes are still the same as everywhere else. We spend our days going through bills and receipts, making sure everything is ready for the government filings. Sometimes we have to travel a bit to meet people who can't make it to Bharmat, but usually, they just stop by our place. There is a lot of green around us, and it is a peaceful place to work, even when the paperwork starts to pile up. We don't use any complicated language or big talk. We just sit down with a cup of tea and look over the numbers together. It is a small, family-connected practice that focuses on getting the basic accounting done right for our neighbors and the local community here in the hills.
