We are based out of Ward Number 5 in Bhojpur, right over by Gari. Working with Sabir Habibulla, we’ve been keeping this handloom thing going for some time. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. You have to have some real patience for it. The handloom process isn't fast like the big factories, but that's just how it is. We spend our days around the looms. The sound of the shuttles becomes like background noise after a few hours of work. In Bhojpur Dharampr, life moves at a different pace. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation. It’s more about the local folks here doing what they know. Sometimes we have issues with getting the right yarn or the weather affects how the threads behave. That's just part of the job. Our setup is simple. We don’t have a big front office or anything like that. People just drop by when they need to. It gets dusty, and it’s a bit cramped with all the equipment, but we get the work done. There is a lot of pride in the skill, even if we don't say it out loud much. It’s just what we do every day. Dealing with the logistics from this area takes some effort because the roads aren't always great. We stay busy enough to keep everyone working. It’s honest work and it keeps the traditions alive in our own small way. Most of us have lived here our whole lives, so we know each other well.
