We are located in Village Paisa Khas, which is a quiet enough place most of the time. Our shop is right near the PNB Bank, so that’s where most people recognize us from in the Tehsil Dehra area. Being a trader in a village means you do a bit of everything. We aren't specialized in just one thing; we handle whatever needs trading. Some days it’s quiet and we just sit outside on the bench talking to the neighbors. Other days, when the farmers are busy or there’s a local project, we’re running around trying to keep up. The bank brings a lot of foot traffic past our door, which is nice. We’ve got a small storeroom that always seems to be overflowing with something or other. Dealing with the bank across the way makes the financial side of things a little easier, at least. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People in Paisa Khas just know the Bhatia name. We’ve been here for years, and the business has seen its ups and downs just like anything else. It’s a simple operation—we buy, we sell, and we try to keep the books balanced. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out. That’s just life in the village. It’s a good community to be a part of. We aren't looking to change much, just to keep things going as they are for the next few years.
