Bda Spices

Bda Spices is based at Plot No. 406 in Balraj Nagar. We are situated right by the Old Bypass, not far from the Dharamsala. If you walk past our place, you will definitely smell what we are doing before you even see the sign. The scent of different spices is always hanging in the air. It’s a strong smell that gets into everything, even our hair and skin. We have been working out of this plot for a good amount of time. The building is just a regular concrete structure with enough space for our grinders and the storage bins. We spend our days sorting through raw materials and getting them ready. It is hard work and it makes your hands feel rough. There is no air conditioning here, so we just leave the big doors open to catch whatever breeze comes off the bypass. Sometimes the trucks going by make it hard to hear anything, but we have gotten used to the noise over the years. We aren't some big factory with machines doing everything. A lot of it is just us using our hands and making sure the bags are filled up properly. We don't put much stock in fancy labels or big advertisements. People around here know where we are if they need anything. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every day.
