A.B. Travels

If you walk through the Main Market in Upper Dharamsala, you’ll find us. A.B. Travels has been operating out of this spot in Mcleodganj for some time. It’s a busy area, lots of people walking by and shops selling all sorts of things. We spend our mornings opening up the office and checking the messages that came in overnight. Being in the market means we get a lot of walk-ins, folks just looking for a way to get to the airport or down to the plains. We don’t use a lot of big words or fancy advertising. It’s mostly just us sitting at our desks, talking to drivers, and making sure the vehicles are ready. The traffic in Mcleodganj can be a headache, but we’re used to it. We know the shortcuts and which times are worst for heading out. Sometimes the office feels a bit cramped when it’s raining outside and everyone wants to stay dry. We’ve got maps on the walls and plenty of tea to go around. It’s a simple life, really. We handle the bookings and try to make sure nobody gets left waiting. There are no corporate scripts here. If you ask a question, we just give you the answer based on what we know today. It’s how we’ve always done things here in the market, just taking it day by day and helping people travel. We don't have fancy brochures to hand out, but we can tell you which roads are the best to take and which places are worth a look.
