Super Sequence

We are tucked away at number 84 in Thillai Nagar, right in the Velliangadu area. Super Sequence has been running from this spot for a while now, and if you walked past, you might hear the machines clicking away. It’s a small space, mostly filled with rolls of material and those tiny shiny bits we use for the work. The light isn't always the best in the back room, but we manage. Most of the people around here know us as the place that’s always got a pile of fabric waiting by the door. It gets cramped when a big order comes in, and we have to stack boxes wherever they fit, sometimes even blocking the way to the little bathroom. We don’t have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk in and usually find someone hunched over a machine or counting out supplies. Velliangadu is a busy place for this kind of work, so there is always someone coming in to ask about a timeline or to drop off a new bundle of clothes. We usually have the radio playing some local songs to keep the energy up during the long afternoons. It’s not a fancy setup, just a group of us working hard to get the details right on every piece that comes through. We try to keep the floors swept, but with all the thread and sequins, it’s a constant battle that we usually lose.
