Teacher

Our place is Mullasseril House, which is House Number 43 in Mythri Nagar. We’re in the Kadappakada part of Kollam. It’s a residential area mostly. Teacher operates from here, which is basically a home-based setup. It’s quiet and off the main road, which is nice for staying focused. People sometimes get lost finding Mythri Nagar, but once you find House 43, you’re there. It’s not a corporate office. We have desks set up in the front room. The garden outside is a bit overgrown right now because we’ve been busy. We’ve stayed in Kollam-8 for quite some time. It’s a small operation. We don’t have a receptionist or anything. If the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. We do our work, drink some tea, and keep moving. The house is old but it stays cool even when it’s hot outside. We have stacks of books and papers everywhere. It might look a bit messy to an outsider, but we know where everything is. We started Teacher because we wanted to work for ourselves in a way that made sense. Being in a house makes it feel less like a chore. Neighbors stop by to chat sometimes. It is just a normal part of the day for us. We don’t have big fancy signs. Just a simple place for simple work. That’s how we like it. We are just regular people in a regular house.
