Milak Plastic Industries

We are located over in Sector No. 1 of the Kandla Special Economic Zone, at plot 189 / 176-A. Being in the SEZ means there are a lot of rules and gates to go through, but it’s where we do all our plastic manufacturing. The facility is fairly large because we need the room for the molding machines and the raw materials. It’s a busy place with a lot of noise from the equipment running all day. We’ve been operating out of Kandla for quite a while now, so we’re used to the industrial environment here. Our work involves a lot of repetitive tasks to make sure the plastic products come out right. We have a crew that works in shifts to keep things moving. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, as there’s always some scrap or dust around, but we try to keep the workspace functional. We don't have a fancy front office; our main focus is just on the production floor. Dealing with the heat in this part of the country can be tough, but the machines need to keep running to stay on schedule. We mostly just deal with bulk orders and shipping them out through the zone’s logistics. It’s a straightforward industrial setup. We don't spend much time on anything other than making sure the production is met. If you’re coming to the SEZ, we’re in the first sector, which makes it a bit easier to find the right gate.
