Abg Kandla Container Terminal Limited is based in Gandhidham. Our office is number 216 inside the Golden Arcade. That’s on the second floor of the building on Plot No. 141. Gandhidham is a busy hub, especially with the port stuff going on nearby, and being in the Golden Arcade means we are around a lot of other offices too. The building has a lot of movement throughout the day. We spend most of our time dealing with the logistics of containers and terminals. It’s a lot of tracking where things are and making sure the paperwork matches up. The office isn't very large, but it’s enough for what we need to do. We have a few computers and a lot of binders. Sometimes the elevators in the arcade are slow, so we just take the stairs to the second floor. The weather in Gandhidham can be quite dry and dusty, but we stay inside and focus on the screens. Most of us here have worked in this field for a long time, so we know how the terminal side of things works. It’s not a glamorous job, just a lot of coordinating and making sure things move from point A to point B without too much trouble. We get a lot of phone calls throughout the day from people checking on their shipments. It is just a steady pace of work in a busy commercial area. We try to keep things organized.
