We operate out of Haringhata Bazar in Subarnapur, Nadia. It’s a bit different from being in the big city center, but we like it here. The pace is a little different, though the bazaar itself is always humming with people. We do a lot of import and export work, mainly focusing on local goods that need to go further afield. Our office is simple, just enough room for the essentials and a place to sit and talk with visitors. We spend a lot of time out and about, checking on stock or meeting with local producers. It’s a hands-on kind of business. We don't have a fancy website or a bunch of brochures. We just talk to people face to face. Sometimes the rain makes the roads difficult, and everything slows down for a day or two. We’ve learned to just go with it. We handle the logistics and the paperwork so the people we work with don't have to worry about it. It’s about being reliable and showing up when we say we will. We don’t use any complicated jargon. If someone asks a question, we give them a straight answer. It’s a modest setup, but it serves us well and keeps the business moving through the seasons. You can usually find one of us here by eight in the morning, making sure the previous day's tally is all accounted for.
