Tl Global Exports & Imports is based out of Santhavellore in Sriperumpudur. Our address is No. 1/159-a on Mariamman Koil Street. Being out here in Sriperumpudur means we are near a lot of the big factories, but our street has a bit of a different feel. You can hear the sounds from the local temple throughout the day, which is quite nice actually. The building itself is straightforward and doesn’t have any flashy lights or big displays. We have our desks, our phones, and a lot of ledgers. It gets quite dusty around here because of all the trucks passing by on the main roads, so we are constantly cleaning the surfaces. Most days are spent coordinating between different people and making sure the documentation is right. We don't have fancy office chairs, just the ones that work. It’s a bit of a drive from the city, but we’ve made this place our home for the business. There is a small porch area where we sometimes stand to catch a bit of air. We know the neighbors pretty well since it’s a small street. It’s the kind of place where you know everyone’s name. We just focus on the work at hand and try to stay organized despite the stacks of paper that seem to grow every week. It’s a modest way to run an export business, but it suits us just fine.
