Taj Furn

Taj Furn is located right near the Rountana on Trunk Road in Porur. It’s a busy area, as anyone who drives through Porur knows. We’ve been at No 12 for quite a while now. The shop is filled with all sorts of furniture, from chairs to tables and everything else people need for their homes. We spend a lot of time moving things around to make space. It’s not a fancy showroom with bright lights and pushy people. We just show what we have in stock. Some days the traffic outside is loud, but inside we’re just busy helping whoever walks in. People usually find us because they’re passing through the Rountana anyway. We handle a lot of heavy lifting here, literally. Furniture isn’t light, so we’re always on our feet. We don’t have some big corporate manual we follow. It’s more about just being helpful and knowing where everything is kept. If someone asks for a specific type of wood or a certain size of sofa, we try to find it in the back or on the floor. It’s a regular local business. We know the neighbors and the other shop owners around Trunk Road. Porur is a good place to be, even with all the dust and noise. We just keep the doors open and do our work every day. It's a simple way of living and we're happy with it.
