This branch of Sycone Cpmc Pvt Ltd is tucked away in Thiruvalluvar Nagar. We are at number 12 on Ramanujam Street. If you know the Pammal area, you know it can get a bit crowded, but our street is alright. We’ve been operating from here for a bit, handling the project management stuff that needs doing in Chennai. It’s not a huge setup. We have a couple of rooms where the engineers and coordinators sit. There's always a stack of blueprints or schedules sitting on someone's desk. It feels more like a workshop than a big corporate headquarters. We mostly deal with the day-to-day grind of construction projects and keeping things on track. People think management is all about sitting in air-conditioned rooms, but we spend plenty of time out on sites or dealing with delays that happen for no reason. Chennai heat is no joke, especially in Pammal, so the fan is always on high. We keep things pretty simple here. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy slogans. We just look at the plans, talk to the contractors, and try to make sure everything gets finished before the deadline. It’s hard work and it isn't always pretty. Most of us have been in this line of work long enough to know that things rarely go perfectly. We just show up every morning and get back to it.
