Our spot is located on Venu Gopal Street over in Madipakkam. If you have ever been to this part of Chennai, you know how the traffic can get sometimes, especially near the main roads. But our street is a bit more tucked away from the chaos. It is 1/170, a simple place where we spend most of our hours from Monday to Saturday. Usually, the morning starts with the sound of bikes passing by and the neighbors heading out for their day. We have been here long enough that we do not really think about the address much anymore; it is just where we go. There is a lot of paper moving around and people talking on phones throughout the afternoon. We do not have a big shiny lobby or a front desk person. It is mostly just desks, computers, and a few fans keeping the air moving when it gets humid. Lunch breaks usually mean someone heading out to find a quick bite or just sitting around the back with a tiffin box. It is not a glamorous setup by any means but it serves its purpose for our daily tasks. We manage the workload and try to keep things moving. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power fluctuates, which is just part of living and working in this neighborhood. We deal with it and move on. Being in Madipakkam feels right for us because it is close to home. It is just a regular office doing regular things.
