Suseela Clinic

Suseela Clinic is at No 18 B on Alaadi Pillaiyar Kovil Street. We are in the Keerai Mandapam part of Little Kanchipuram. It’s a very traditional neighborhood with narrow streets and lots of temples nearby. The clinic is just a small house that we use for seeing patients. It’s been here for quite a while. People in Little Kanchipuram know the street well. It’s not a big place at all. We have a small waiting bench outside under the shade when it gets hot in the afternoon. Inside, it’s just a consultation room and a small pharmacy area where we keep the basics. We mostly deal with the regular illnesses that families in the area get. It’s a quiet spot, usually, unless there is a festival at the temple down the road. Then the whole street gets blocked with people and flowers. I grew up around here, so I know the families and their kids. It’s a very personal way of working. We don't have any fancy computers or digital systems here. Everyone knows everyone here. It’s a small, honest place where we just try to do our bit for the town. We open in the morning and stay until the sun goes down.
