Sri Balaji Traders

Our shop is sitting right at number 9 on Pradap Avenue. It’s an easy spot to find if you are driving on the Chennai to Bangalore Bye Pass Road around Sriperumbudur. Being so close to the highway means we see a lot of travelers and heavy vehicles passing by at all hours. We are traders, so our space is usually cluttered with all sorts of items waiting to be picked up or delivered. It’s a practical setup with a lot of movement. Sometimes the noise from the bypass is so loud we have to close the front door just to hear each other talk. We’ve been in Sriperumbudur for a while and have seen how much the area has grown with all the new factories and warehouses popping up everywhere. Our unit isn't very large, but we make use of every square inch of the floor. There is usually a pile of crates near the entrance and some stock tucked away in the back corners. We don’t have a fancy reception area, just a counter where we talk to customers and handle the bills. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the afternoons, making it quite warm inside. We usually have some tea around four and get back to checking the latest stock arrivals. It is just a regular local business trying to keep things running smoothly for everyone involved.
