We’re located over at New No 12 on Arul Prakasam Street in Ekkaduthangal. It’s quite close to the Reliance Infocom building, which makes it easier for people to give directions to our place. The office here at Skanda Telecom Solutions is pretty straightforward. We have a few rows of desks and a lot of networking gear tucked away in the corners. Ekkaduthangal is a busy hub for this kind of work, so there’s always something going on in the street outside. We usually start the day with a quick check on all the ongoing projects. It’s not a fancy corporate environment; we’ve got plain walls and the usual office chairs that have seen better days. Sometimes we have to head out to client sites, so the office can feel a bit empty during the middle of the day. There’s a small shop down the road where we usually get our lunch. It’s a practical location for us since it’s well-connected to the rest of the city. We don't really go for big displays or marketing gimmicks. Most of our work comes from people who know where we are and what we do. The air conditioner in the main room is a bit noisy, but it keeps the heat away during the Chennai summers. We just focus on getting through the tasks we have scheduled for the day.
