Skan Organic Limted is situated at 1-A Aarthi Industrial Estate in Moulivakkam. We are in the Porur area of Chennai, postcode 600 125. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by warehouses and factories. It’s not a typical retail shop where people just wander in off the street. Most of our work involves handling larger quantities of organic goods. You’ll see trucks coming in and out of the estate all day long. Inside our unit, we have plenty of space for storage and some processing equipment. It can get quite loud with the machinery from the neighbors and the sound of loading and unloading. We focus on things like bulk grains and organic ingredients. The office part is just a small corner with a couple of desks and some filing cabinets. It’s a very practical environment, not something meant for show. We wear sturdy shoes because the floor is concrete and there is always work to be done. Our team is small, and we mostly deal with other businesses or people who want larger orders. The Chennai heat can be tough in this kind of building, so we have big industrial fans going. It’s a serious place of work where we stay busy with the logistics of moving organic products around. We’ve been part of this industrial estate for a good while now.
