Sivasakthi Ss Shine Foundation

We are located at 10/258 in Arasu Paniyalar Nagar. This is in the N. Kanchipuram area, specifically in Koduvai. It is a bit of a journey to get here if you are coming from the main city. Our foundation is based in a simple building that fits right in with the others on the street. We do a lot of work with the local community here. It is a rural setting, so things move a bit slower than in the big cities. We have a few desks and a lot of notebooks where we keep track of everything. The air is a bit fresher here, which we like. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. Most people find us through word of mouth. We spend our mornings checking on projects and the afternoons doing paperwork. Sometimes we have to travel to nearby villages, so the office might be closed for a few hours. We usually leave a note on the door if that happens. It is a small team, just a handful of us who live nearby. We know the local shopkeepers and the farmers. It feels good to be working in a place where you know your neighbors. We aren't doing anything fancy, just trying to be useful. The foundation is our way of giving back to the place where we live. The local bus stop is not too far away, so we get a lot of foot traffic near the front gate.
