Siddha Care Clinic

Our clinic is situated at No 8 on Anjaneyar Koil Street. It is a quiet enough street most of the time, except when there is a festival at the temple nearby. We focus on Siddha treatments, which is what we know best. The building is an older one, but it has a good feel to it. We keep a lot of herbs and traditional supplies on the shelves, and the smell of them usually fills the whole room. People come to us when they want something different from the usual hospital experience. We don’t have a receptionist in a suit or anything like that. Usually, one of us just looks up from what we are doing to say hello when someone walks in. The floor is tile and stays cool even when the weather gets hot outside. We have a few wooden chairs for people to sit on while they wait. We spend a lot of time talking to patients about their habits and how they feel. It is a slow process, not like those big clinics where they rush you out in five minutes. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to chat for a minute about the neighborhood news. We like being part of this street. It feels like a community here, and we just do our part by staying open and helping out with our knowledge of Siddha. It is a modest place but it serves its purpose well.
