You can find us over at Plot No-12 on M.D. Sitaraman Avenue. We are part of the VGP Layout in Injambakkam. It’s a quiet enough spot for a garment place. We do a mix of things here with textiles. Some days it’s all about cutting fabric and other days we are packing up finished pieces. It is a bit of a trek from the main city center but we like it here in Kanchipuram. The air is a bit better. We have a small team. Everyone knows their job. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to make sure the clothes we send out are decent. Sometimes the thread colors are a bit off and we have to redo a batch. That’s just part of the job. We don’t have any slick brochures or a big marketing team. It’s just us and our sewing machines and a lot of fabric rolls. We’ve been at this for a bit now. If you're looking for us, look for the big blue gates. We usually start early in the morning before it gets too hot. It’s practical work. No bells or whistles, just stitching and checking and packing. We try to keep the place organized but with all the scraps, it's hard. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks and then everyone is grumpy, but the work still happens. It's just a regular workplace doing textiles for local clients and whoever else calls.
